UK Shipping

We offer a fast, efficient and hassle free delivery service. You choose which products to buy and decide where you would like them sent, and we will make sure your items are carefully packaged and arrive safely and quickly.

You can choose the delivery speed at checkout. Just look at the dispatch time of the product to see how quick it can be shipped and choose the shipping time that suits.

We use a combination of Royal Mail & Courier (DHL, DPD & UPS).

A signature is required for all orders sent via Courier.

Free Shipping: Is available on Mainland UK and will be indicated in your shopping cart when available. 

Loss, Shortages & Damaged Items: Orders not received within the specified delivery period must be notified to us in writing within 14 days of the order being dispatched. Orders reported after that time cannot be refunded. Items missing or damaged on arrived must be reported in writing within 48 hours of receipt. Claims made after this time cannot be entertained.

UK Returns

CoastOutdoors offer returns for most items within 30 days of receipt of delivery. We want you to have a positive experience every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items and you have the right to cancel the purchase of most items within 14 days. This does not affect your statutory rights. As well as your statutory cancellation rights, you can return most products within 30 days of receipt of the products if the products are in an unused and undamaged condition.

Pre-Paid Returns Label

You are welcome to return your items however you wish, but we offer a Royal Mail returns label for £3.50 (UK Returns Only) for you to drop your return at the post office. The cost of the label will be deducted from your refund.

UK Returns Details

When you're cancelling your purchase within the first 14 days from the day of receipt, we will refund the cost of the item and the standard cost of delivery corresponding to the least expensive type of delivery offered. When you're returning an item that was part of a larger order, we will refund the cost of the item only.

Where you're cancelling your purchase between 14 and 30 days after delivery and there's been no error on the our part, we will only refund the cost of the item.

Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges for unwanted items; please place a new order for any alternative items you require. All refunds will be issued to the original payment method on the order within 3-5 working days of receipt at our warehouse or once the item has been checked by one of our specialists.

Please DO NOT write directly, apply stickers or stamps on to the original packaging as this will affect our ability to re-sell the item and may result in a refund being denied if one is requested. We reserve the right to refuse items sent back with defaced or damaged packaging or to charge for the packaging to be replaced.

Please note that you are responsible for any returned items until they are received by us. For this reason we suggest you use an insured method of return such as recorded delivery. You are responsible for the cost of returning items to us.

Free Products included with a selected item: If you purchase an item which has a 'free' product bundled with it and you decide not to keep the product, you must return the free item too. If you decide to only return the main product then you will be charged for the free item, the value of which is shown on your invoice and order.

EU Shipping

CoastOutdoors offers a combination of both Post & Courier (DHL, DPD & UPS) delivery to international customers allowing orders to be fully traceable. The price of this service is dependent on the delivery country or region.

You can choose the delivery speed at checkout. Just look at the dispatch time of the product to see how quick it can be shipped and choose the shipping time that suits.

A signature is required for all orders. Someone must be at your delivery address to sign for your parcel on the day of delivery.

Free Shipping: Is available to certain destinations when certain thresholds are met and will be indicated in your shopping cart when available.

Duties & Taxes

CoastOutdoors dispatches orders "delivery duty paid" (DDP) to all EU countries. All the import charges, customs duties and local taxes will be calculated and included in the checkout page. Goods will arrive directly to their destination address, with no extra charges except for the amount paid at the time of the order.

Duties & Taxes

We dispatch “delivery duty unpaid” (DDU) worldwide, potential sales taxes or customs duties are excluded and they will be charged directly to the customer by the courier for each order at the time of delivery and will not be refunded if the items are returned. It is your (the Customers) responsibility to make sure that that you aware of your countries local import duties and taxes before ordering. Orders refused or returned due to ignornance of this will be refunded minus the original shipping charge and the return charge incurred.

Currently there is no duty or tax payable on US orders under 800 USD. For Australia this is Currently 1000 AUD

Direct Returns

If we do not haven managed returns in your country simply post the item back to our address below however you want, but please follow the customs instructions below carefully.

Please note that you are responsible for any returned items until they are received by us. For this reason we suggest you use an insured method of return such as recorded delivery. You are responsible for the cost of returning items to us.

You must mark all returns as RETURNED GOODS – FAILED SALE. This must be clearly marked on the customs information document ( CN22 and/ or CN23) on the outside of the packaging. Please do not select "Merchandise", "Sold". We will not accept any goods returned to us which have incurred Customs charges.

EU & Brexit FAQ

1: Will I have to pay anything extra like duties at customs for deliveries to the EU?

No, the price you see at checkout is the final price you pay. All taxes and duties have already been applied to your order. You will not be required to pay import tax or duty when your order arrives at customs.

 2: Will my delivery take longer than it did pre-Brexit?

Yes, currently there are a few days delay with road shipments to Europe. We recommend choosing a Next Day service if you need the goods quickly

3: Orders below 150 € should not have any duty applied. Is this reflected in the order value total?

Yes, the cost of duties on all orders above or below the low value goods threshold is borne by CoastOutdoors.

4: Is VAT charged on my EU order and can I reclaim it?

No domestic VAT is charged on your order, CoastOutdoors shipped your order on a “delivered duty paid” basis, any import VAT was paid by us. For this reason, VAT cannot be reclaimed by the customer.
